Render new image using chp 8 Pro Augmented reality android [on hold]

I imported the chp 8 source code from Pro Augmeneted Reality Android, When i try to add an image(eg: a car.png image along with its .obj and .mtl file) it does not render the image on the marker.

Do i need to create a different marker for the image?

Can u suggest me wid some direction?
